Yay for my new blog! This is exciting for me. I have no idea if anyone will ever read this, or if it will ever matter, but I am glad to have an outlet. So, in a nutshell, this will be the story of my weight loss. So here it is. I have always been a "big" girl. When I was 15, a boy I was CRAZY about broke my heart, and I vowed to get even. I decided the best way to do that, was to make him wish he had never let me go. The good news: Over the next 6 months, I lost 40 pounds. I went from a size 14 to a size 4. The bad news: I did it by starving myself and overexercising. Even at my smallest, I was unhappy with how I looked. I continued this endless circle of starvation until I left home for college; that's when it got bad. I gained all the weight back in 4 months, plus some. Fast forward 2 years, I now weigh almost 90 pounds more than I did at my smallest. My NP (nurse practitioner) instructed me to lose weight due to high blood pressure and a risk of developing diabetes.So we're now up to the present. My goal is to lose 50 pounds by my 21st birthday in February. I am doing an altered version of "the Zone" diet. Problem: I love sweets and carbs, and HATE HATE HATE veggies! I thought blogging would help me stay on track better, because my self-control is severely lacking! So here I go, this is my attempt at blogging!
